The Grinch

If you are able to celebrate Christmas in your environment, there are many ways to do so. This year I decided to use Dr. Seuss’ famous story about materialism, greed, and being kind to others as our theme leading up to the big day.

We played a game for number recognition

We made Grinch slime at sensory time.

1 cup white school glue

3/4 cup of baking soda

2 T contact solution

2 T green food coloring

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl with a rubber spatula until desired consistency and color.

Lastly, we did a science experiment. I put vinegar in a test tube. After drawing a small heart on a balloon I poured in some baking soda in the balloon. Watch to see the rest:
